Blessed Mary

Mary, the Mother of Jesus, is greatly revered within Christianity - especially within the Catholic branch of the faith.  Interestingly, the Catholic doctrine tells us that she didn't "die", but instead was bodily "Assumed" up into Heaven.  In other words, instead of "passing on" and leaving her physical body behind in the usual way, she was actually taken up "bodily" into Heaven.  This is a very rare, special sacred activity that the Ascended Masters refer to as the "Ascension".  The Catholic Church didn't understand Jesus when he said that, "All these things that I do, you too shall do . . ."  so they thought that only Jesus could Ascend, and that no one else, not even his Mother, would be able to Ascend.  So instead of saying that Mary "Ascended" into Heaven, they say she was "Assumed" up into Heaven and refer to it as her "Assumption", but really the word "Assumption" is simply describing Mary's "Ascension".  In fact, the Ascended Masters tell us that Blessed Mary is a very, very great Ascended Lady Master who is a tremendous outpouring of compassion, loving kindness, and peace to all humanity.
